Bendiksen, E. 2019. NINA Rapport 1673. Norsk institutt for naturforskning.
Bendiksen, E. 2019. Investigation of nature values in connection with planned railroad underpass at Lurslia, Nittedal (Akershus). NINA Report 1673. Norwegian Institute for Nature Research. Today, an unsecured railway crossing serves as the main gateway to the forest in Nordmarka from the built-up areas in Nittedal by Sørli. This is planned to be replaced by an underpass/ culvert where it also can be run machines for making ski trails. From the ski arena the current walking trail is followed almost to the present railway crossing. Then a new trail is made further to the point of culvert more to the north east. At the northern side of the railway there is only a stretch of 10-15 m between the railway and a walking trail. All forest in the influence zone of the new walking trail and close to the planned culvert at the southern side of the railway consists of young plantations dominated by spruce on acid soil. The vegetation is of common types, and there are no finds of red listed species or other interesting species. At the northern side there is somewhat more rich ground with a narrow belt of swamp forest along a small brook down to a larger brook from Høldippadammen. However, this is primarily from just east of the culvert, covering very small areas. This is also young forest. The conclusion is that the intervention will not cause conflict concerning important nature values. Both at the south and north side care should be taken with respect to unnecessary influence on the areas towards east, where there are richer vegetation elements.nb_NO
