Salt meadows in Østfold – area, ecological condition and red listed speciesnb_NO
Salt meadows in the boreonemoral zone are a hotspot habitat, housing several rare and threatened species, and the habitat itself is red-listed. In this study, we demonstrate how to use a random sample of the coastline to estimate the remaining area of salt meadows, the ecological condition of the remaining area and important threats to the habitat, as well as the frequency of occurrence of red-listed species of salt meadows along the coast of Østfold.nb_NO
